PETULA CLARK In Other Words 1962 UK MONO FIRST Pye Records
Petula Clark, In Other Words.
Fairly scarce 1962 UK pressed Pye Records mono LP, NPL 18070.
Earliest heavy duty pressing with dark pink labels.
Vinyl visually close to EX with glossy surfaces. A few light hairline scuff marks but no deep marks or scratches. Some spindle activity but not excessively so.
Plays a conservative VG. Occasional minor background crackle and the occasional isolated soft tick. This all well behind the loud and bright cut, and much plays EX.
Sleeve VG. The grade is mainly held back by the white rear panel which has some stains, a small pen mark and an area of partially removed sellotape loss to centre of entry side. The sellotape continues round to the front panel, but here it is intact and very unobtrusive. Else sleeve is clean and unmarked with unworn seams and spine. The laminated front panel still looks very clean and tidy.
