Another from my personal collection! This LP is extremely rare in mono! Mr. wonderful Fleatwood Macs second album to be released in the UK in 1968 featureing the legendary Peter Green! Virtualy impossible to find in this condition! There were very few copies ever pressed!! - I have seen just two copies in over 30 years of collecting and, in most price guides, the mono issue is not even listed - some of you have asked questions regarding how to tell mono and stereo pressings apart just by looking at them is easy - in keeping with other UK Blue Horizon issues of the era, stereo LPs had '' A7AC'' prefixes, although these are seen only on the labels and not on the front, rear or spine of the jacket - again, The '' SA7'' prefixes for the 1st and 2nd lps are eroneously absent from many reputable price guides!!! Therefore the correct stereo cataloue numbers for this album is ''S7-63205'' (MONO ISSUES 7-63205) For stereo pressings These numbers are machine -stamped in the matrix areas of the disc with 'AC A1CAC / ACB1AC' suffixes!!!!! There is also a -STEREO- logo At the top centre of the labels on stereo pressings and in addition to the Blue Horizon on the rear sleeve stating ' STEREO' CAN ALSO BE PLAYED ON MONO EQUIPMENT'' along with further ''AC BLUE HORIZON RECORDS''!
'AC information to the inside gatefold layout -MONO labels have heavily textured and faceted appearance due to their distinctly different cutting and pressing process!!! The best way to tell them apart, however is by PLAYING THEM!! The differences are many and various!, with both mono and stereo pressings proving a joy to listen to!!! Fantastic stereo seperation on a stereo copy, certainly but alsoa wonderful bar room quality mono original issue, with awesome\superbe resonance and fantastic tones, while revealing crystal clarity and sharpness in the top end and mid-range!!!! Both issues are absolutely ESSENTIAL for Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green collectors!!!! but there are simply not enough copies to go around! - in fact, there are so few mono issues of Mr. Wonderful in existance I cannot help wondering if the manufacturing process of mono pressings was halted at a very early stage in order to allow the ongoing release of this LP in stereo only - it is MASSIVELY RARE (especially in this condition) indispensable British blues artefact!

------------------------------------------
Mr. Wonderful is the second album by the blues-rock band, Fleetwood Mac, released in 1968. An expanded version of this album was included in the box set, The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions.
Like their first album, this was an all-blues album, but this time the band had made a few changes. The album was recorded live in the studio with miked amplifiers and PA system, rather than plugged into the board.
They also added horns and featured a friend of the band on keyboards, Christine Perfect of Chicken Shack. Four of the songs, "Dust My Broom", "Doctor Brown", "Need Your Love Tonight" and "Coming Home", begin with an identical Elmore James riff.
"Stop Messin' Round" (Adams, Green) – 2:22
- "I've Lost My Baby" (Spencer) – 4:18
- "Rollin' Man" (Adams, Green) – 2:54
- "Dust My Broom" (James, Johnson) – 2:54
- "Love That Burns" (Adams, Green) – 5:04
- "Doctor Brown" (Brown, Glasco) – 3:48
- "Need Your Love Tonight" (Spencer) – 3:29
- "If You Be My Baby" (Adams, Green) – 3:54
- "Evenin' Boogie" (Spencer) – 2:42
- "Lazy Poker Blues" (Adams, Green) – 2:37
- "Coming Home" (James) – 2:41
- "Trying So Hard to Forget" (Adams, Green) – 4:47

The Vinyl
The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable. On initial inspection the vinyl indeed looks almost as new in my opinion. As good as the day I purchased it over 40 years ago! Unbeleivably rare to find like this!
Any marks that could possibly be seen angled to the light would be sleeve removal only, to be honest I can't see anything this look like a new vinyl in my personal opinion, to be highly critical if scrutinised when angled to very extreme light I can see a very slight/minor manufacturing defect a slight rippling in the vinyl surface on one side , but this has very little if no effect on ther awesome top mono audio effect thast I could hear !
The vinyl
I have play tested the vinyl prior to this listing at loud volume on a top system,, importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge! The vinyl plays through as good as the day I purchased this over 40 years ago, Stunningly clear and vibrant throughout! Almost as goos as it gets! Any static that is common on these original Blue Horizon pressing are very very minimal a few and far between! Audio is graded at least excellent plus to near as mint on my systems!
Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for very minor static, isolated surface noise perhapes heard in between some tracks,, not consistant throughout the audio,, Please remember that this is a 45 year old vinyl that would have been played on a 45 year old system!
Please note! This vinyl has been stored in a case laying dormant for over 40 years,, A constant clean before each play is highly recomended. This will reduce any static and will enhance the audio quality!
The Labels
These are the original 1st issue Blue Horizon labels. Look as new in my opinion in fact it is hard to see if this has ever been played,, it is hard to see any spidering at all! No spindle ware the hole is perfectly round!
The Record Sleeve.
This is a plain white poly lined sleeve.
The Cover
This is the original E.J.Day & co UK printed, internal flipback gatefold cover! Awesome super glossy in appearence, any storage ware rubbing or creases are very minimal indeed, and only really noticable if scrutinised in my opinion. There are no splits or tares and no nasty names written. All text is legable. The spine is square and near perfect.
Incredibly rare to find like this! Cover graded at least excellent plus! Looks as good as the day that I purchased this album over 40 years ago!
