Original Pete Johnson twelve-inch 78 rpm record of "Holler Stomp" and "You Don't Know My Mind."  This is on the Blue Note label #12 (early blue and chartreuse labels).  Both sides are improvised piano solos.  The playing surfaces are in absolutely beautiful VG++ to M- condition with full gloss!!   Maybe just a couple very slight sleeve/storage lines on each side, but certainly no scuff marks on scratches.  Both labels look great, with no writing or stickers on either.  No chips or other damage on the outer edges or around the spindle holes.  Wonderful shape!!

This fragile 78 record will be packaged with utmost care in an oversize, sturdy box and sent by Priority Mail.  Please use the shipping calculator to determine your fee.  If you are interested in more than one 78 record, please email me directly for a combined shipping quote.  I do not ship 78s by Media or First Class Mail to any location.  I use the same grading standards for 78 records that I do for 45s and LPs.  My 78s are visually graded only, as I do not own an adequate player to test them out.

I personally write all of my own descriptions, take all of my own photos, and package all items for mailing myself.  I do not use text, photos or information from “other” sources and would certainly never do so without referencing them. Items pictured in any of my listings are always the actual items that buyers will receive from me.

 

I will NEVER end any auctions early and I do not do "Buy-It-Nows" either. Any of these types of requests will be ignored. Interested bidders have my complete assurance of this.

Buyer satisfaction and returns:  I offer what I believe is a very reasonable return policy for all individual items (and smaller lots) that I sell.  The item must be returned to me exactly as it was packaged and mailed to the buyer.  I will refund the original sale price and shipping fee only; return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.  I do not give ‘partial’ refunds either (i.e. the buyer keeps the item for a lesser price).  This policy applies to U.S. and non-U.S. buyers alike and regardless of the final sale price of the item.  That being said, please ask any and all questions you may have before bidding.  Please do not bid on items that are graded below near mint or even M- and expect them to be nearly or totally perfect.  Obviously, items graded below the ‘mint ranges’ of condition will have either some very slight or more noteworthy imperfections, which I will do my best to disclose in the above listing.  Asking questions beforehand is the key to a successful transaction, especially for buyers who are overly fussy about condition.
