Description
What's on offer?: Almost without the need for introduction, here we have a SIMPLY FANTASTIC and hugely in demand PSYCH Monster - especially as an ORIGINAL UK PRESSING and in STUNNING MINT condition!!
Artist: PETE BROWN & HIS BATTERED ORNAMENTS
(Connections: Cream, Graham Bond Organisation, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Piblokto, Chris Spedding)
A-side: “THE WEEK LOOKED GOOD ON PAPER”
B-side: "Morning Call"
Label: Parlophone R 5767 (UK Original)
A superb Psych outing and one the most highly sought-after of the Pete Brown releases. If you miss out on this UNBEATABLE copy, when are you likely to see one again???!!!
This is one of the TOP TOP items for collectors of PSYCH around the World and is on many Wants Lists! The “Buy It Now” facility is there for the careful consideration of those serious collectors who want to get their hands on this gem NOW!!!
Forget all the cheap bootleg repros (made without push-out centres) that are doing the rounds, this is guaranteed to be the ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing. Any fan of Pete Brown, the Pysch sound or 60s music in general, will simply have to have this in their collection!!!!
Grade (labels): The classic black labels with silver print are in TOP condition. There is NO unwanted hardwriting, NO wear and just a couple of very feint spindle marks on either side!!
Grade (vinyl): Most of these 60s singles had been played on a heavy stylus and so are usually found totally worn out, almost unplayable. This record, despite having a slight 'dishing', has a surface strictly graded at MINT. In fact, it's firmly believed to be have been played perhaps twice!!!!
Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT Record Collector grading standards - it's simply not in my interest to do otherwise!!!! Brilliant!!!!
Why buy?: THIS IS SUCH A BRILLIANT AND PAINFULLY RARE SINGLE. IT’S VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A GENUINE COPY IN TOP CONDITION, LET ALONE IN SUPERB MINT!!!! SO, DON'T MISS OUT!!!! THIS WILL SURELY BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1969 PARLOPHONE UK 1ST PRESSING OF "THE WEEK LOOKED GOOD ON PAPER" BY PETE BROWN AND HIS BATTERED ORNAMENTS IN STUNNING MINT CONDITION!!!! Use the 'Buy It Now' facility (if it's still available) before somebody else beats you to it!!!
Don't forget to: Have a look at all my other rare items on auction.
