Description

PETE BROWN the not forgotten association DERAM LP P-1/P-2 SML 1103!

Original UK LP, released in 1973, on the DERAM label. Catalogue number: SML 1103.

Matrix Numbers Read:

A-side: ZAL 12569-1 (P is stamped under the -)

B-side: ZAL 12570.P-2

Back sleeve has a written inscription in black pen, possibly personalised by Pete Brown, but unverified, however it is partially faint and lightly smudged in places.

Sleeve: VERY GOOD CONDITION

Clean sleeve in VERY GOOD condition. Displays partial record sleeve ring wear, edge wear on the top/bottom and spine edges, bottom sleeve has large middle edge spilt (approx. 10cms), top sleeve has become unglued from the back (however this can be easily stuck back, if desired), there are some light superficial sleeve creases with light sleeve impressions on the back. Sleeve obviously worn but still presents a good solid clean appearance. The original inner sleeve has been replaced with a modern one.

Record: VERY GOOD CONDITION (*Plays mostly EXCELLENT)

Record labels are in EXCELLENT condition, clean with no damage and with some small light spindle hole markings showing on both sides. Playing surfaces and matrix areas are in VERY GOOD condition (graded by appearance), these have some surface marks/scuffs evident on both sides. Surface scuffs/marks are predominately hair line/fine line types which mainly only show up when viewed closely and angled under a strong bright light, however there are a few slightly more noticeable (mainly small) surface scuffs/marks visible on both sides. All surface scuffs/marks are light and smooth and are lightly scattered and definitely not excessive in quantity. *Both sides plays mostly EXCELLENT displaying mainly a clean clear sound throughout, however there is some occasional low level background surface noise in places when played. Downsizing my personal collection: Early Pete Brown Deram record, some wear to sleeve/Record is mostly an EXCELLENT player.
