Here's the story, a man who know's I buy vinyl stops buy and asks if I would be interested in about 150 old records that a man who used to own the old ACE hardware gave him about 20 years ago. To bring you up to speed just about every store in any town use to sell records in the late 50's, early 60's, ACE being one of them in the small town I live in. So I tell him that I will take a look, never passing on an opportunity. So the man brings me 150 sealed in baggy style albums, Which I have researched that this was the method for the period. Some of these albums are sealed in record label baggies (Vocallion, Crown, etc.). These covers look brand new with bright colors and some of the baggies have small tears but I can tell that they have not interfered with the unopened effect. The man says he has stored them for years in an ACE hardware box, which they came in and helps verify the story. Almost all still have the price stickers on them ($2.49 to $3.98). If you have any other info to verify these items it would be greatly appreciated. Of course there will be money back if not satisfied with condition, but keep in mind these are 50 year old unopened albums and I opened one that was a double for my collection and the paper sleeve was pure white and the vinyl was flawless, with no spindle marks on the label. All albums listed are mainly for the ears and not the eyes. Most covers are used in some way. It could be stains, writing, creased, water, or normal wear for age. The vinyls are VG or better. Most are VG+ or NM-. So if you are looking to listen and not invest, these are for you. All are sold "as is". Combined $1.00 per Xtra.
