Description
The time has come. After 8 years of adoring my prized Pearl Jam possession - the Live at Benaroya Hall 4-LP box set - I'm finally parting ways. For years, I've considered selling it because I stared at it way too many times without ever opening it, and I knew that some fellow 10C member or hardcore Pearl Jam fan would be able to better enjoy the wine-colored vinyl of one of the most historic shows, an (almost) all-acoustic set at Benaroya Hall in 2003. But I waited. I kept telling my wife that it was my prized PJ possession - even more than any wonderful Ames or Klausen poster in my collection or my No Code record (best album!) or my wristband from Jeff caught from the front row in Virginia Beach in 2008. I even got an extra part-time position to afford going to PJ20 in Wisconsin last summer for my 14th and 15th shows instead of just selling or trading this set. But alas, I'm posting this incredible box set for sale as we close on our first home together. It's the right thing for me to do for my family, and I truly hope that it ends up in the hands of someone who will appreciate it the right way and spin the black (wine?) circle! Viva la Pearl Jam!
OK, here are the details for those who don't want a sob story:
You're bidding on an unopened, sealed mint copy of Pearl Jam's Live at Benaroya Hall 4-LP box set. The wine-colored vinyl contains 23 acoustic tracks (and an electric "Yellow Ledbetter") from the band's 2003 performance at Benaroya Hall. You know the tracks or you wouldn't be reading this. It is numbered 1190 out of 2000 and I have been the only owner of this set since it was purchased from the Ten Club. It has been kept very safely with the rest of my record collection in a smoke-free apartment and is seemingly in perfect condition. A very close inspection - please see the images - shows that one or two corners have what appear to be slight scuffs, but they were on the box set when it arrived. The plastic wrap was slightly ripped for the Ten Club to write in the number (1190/2000) as with all others in the collection. The heavyweight 180-gram vinyl records should be in perfect condition, as is the poster that came in the box set.
I will pack this coveted possession very safely and ensure that it arrives in pristine condition. It will be mailed via USPS, and I'll make sure they stamp "FRAGILE" on it at least a half dozen times. I will also have delivery confirmation and insurance. If you prefer a different shipping method or want to pick up from the Virginia Beach area, let me know.
This set is available for international shipping though the shipping cost can vary based on where you live. PayPal is the preferred method of payment.
Please, please, please e-mail or message me if you have any questions or want additional pictures. I'll be online every day hoping for some PJ U.S. tour dates in the fall. :)
