Description

Here's P.E. Hewitt's "Winter Winds", an exceedingly rare lost gem from the early 70's S.F. Bay Area jazz scene that was virtually unknown until just this year. This group created a very unique sound with female scat/chorus over driving Eastern/Spiritual rhythms. Here's clips of their "Oma Rakas", "Wondering Why", "Winter Wind" and "Bada Que Bash". This is from a micro-pressing of 100 copies, comes complete with insert and is the only copy I have available for auction. I cannot overstate its rarity! COND: Paste-on sleeve is VG++ with 1" split lrhc. Disc is also a strong VG++. S/H: $4 in U.S. $14-15 overseas.
