Up for bids is an original Mono Jazz LP by Paul Quinichette called "Basie Reunion" on Prestige Records. PRLP 7147. Released in 1958.

STARRING:

Paul Quinichette: Tenor Sax/ Buck Clayton: Trumpet/ Shad Collins: Trumpet/ Jack Washington: Baritone Sax/ Nat Pierce: Piano/ Freddie Green: guitar/ Eddie Jones: Bass/ Jo Jones: Drums.

This is the original 1st pressing on the yellow Prestige labels with the "203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J." address on both labels and "203 SO WASHINGTON AVE., BERGENFIELD, N.J." on bottom of back cover.

Deep groove pressing.

Edges of record are raised.

Front of cover is laminated.

Matrix (or trail-off) numbers have the stamped "A" then the stamped "RVG" then another stamped "A" and then the hand-etched "PRLP-7147-A" for Side A, and the stamped "A" then the stamped "RVG" then another stamped "A" and then the hand-etched "PRLP-7147.B" for Side 2.

NOTE:

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.

Cover is in VG to VG+ condition. Minor wear and marking on front and back (mainly on the back). Minor fraying on top and bottom. 6 3/4" split on top at opening.

I would rate the record’s condition as a VG++. Has a couple of minor marks that do not greatly affect play. Shiny and plenty of gloss! Sounds great on my player!

Makes a great gift for any Basie fan!
