Why is this so rare.......
This earliest first pressing has the 'WINGS' logo (see scan) on both of the labels. Many first pressings either did not have the 'WINGS' logo or only had it on one side. This one has the logo on both labels and at the base of the rear cover - where it publices the 'WINGS' FUN CLUB. 1st Pressings also had "Gramophone' and Apple Record' text on the labels + the braille inscription on the rear cover.
Vinyl: Not play tested. Both sides look to be Near Excellent with some light feathering and hairlines. Would benefit from a light clean - not played for 30 years.
Cover: Garrod & Lofthouse 1st pressing unlaminated gatefold cover. Has the braille text at the top of the rear cover. Near Excellent condition with some edge wear & ringwear and has a name on the inside of the cover.
Inner Booklet: The original inner booklet is complete and stapled to the inside. Excellent+ condition.
Labels: Excellent+. 'Gramophone' & 'Apple Record' text + 'Wings' logo on both sides.
POSTAGE: £3.50 (UK) £6 (EUROPE) & £8 (REST OF THE WORLD)
