Description
strong VG+ vinyl, some light scuffs/scratches - age browning spots on white labels and advice "available only to technical and other authorized personal for the limited purposes of testing and review. NOT TO BE PUBLICLY PERFORMED REPRODUCED, SOLD OR OTHERWISE DISTRIBUTED. I have no idea how many of these there were but it does not seem like a mass T.P ploy was being used to snare interest as happened in period with some other artists. The plain white sleeve has corner mildew/mold damage that has not affected vinyl - the removable photocopy info sheet lower left corner has been affected but is still removable and readable - there is a note below side one to say "Side 1 Band 6 deleted from side. and side two band three add new tune, the latter a reference to the addition on 'Helen's Wheels' not included on the original UK release. A little hand pointing stamp is used on the sheet to highlight changes. The date on the sheet is Nov '73. The deadwax runoff on disc has MASTERED BY CAPITOL stamped plus etched 1-3145 F-14 side one and 2-3145 F-14 side two, also the initial W Wy (or the like) on both sides plus a sideways I (so more like a - )
My research has not been able to find a listing or sale for one of these before - however it could be a more common record company 'in house' item than I think - any extra info you may have I will share with other bidders so folks know what they are bidding on. If sold over $100 I will require international buyer to pay a further $11 for registered mail delivery. Canadian buyers will get a basic international mail discount of $1 extra from US first class but will still need to pay for registration.
