WINGS "Back To The Egg" (1979 UK 14-track LP) is the seventh and final studio album by the British-American band Wings, released in 1979 on Columbia Records in America, and on Parlophone in the UK - 8 June 1979 (UK). Featuring guest appearances from Dave Gilmour, Hank Marvin, John Bonham and John Paul Jones. Recording for the album began in June 1978 and lasted for almost a year. The sessions took place at Spirit of Ranachan Studios in Scotland, Lympne Castle in Kent, London's Abbey Road Studios, and Replica Studio – the last of which McCartney built as an exact replica of Abbey Road's Studio Two when the latter became unavailable. Wings returned to Abbey Road in March 1979 to complete the album, before filming a series of promotional videos in Lympne and elsewhere, for what became the Back to the Egg TV special.
Wings toured the UK in support of the album, but the planned world tour ended in January 1980, when McCartney was arrested in Japan for possession of drugs.
The group disbanded early the following year.

THE VINYL is superb, glossy and looks almost few times played. Near Mint. The vinyl is very bright and clean. There is a few light sleeve removal marks on side one (sunny side up). Matrix numbers: YEX 987-2 and YEX 988-1. Run-out grooves side 1 hand scribed “Nick” and side 2 “Nick W”. Excellent condition.
THE LABELS are fine, very clean, no writings, a few very light spindle marks/traces. Parlophone catalogue number PCTC 257. Excellent condition.
OUTER SLEEVE is still in very good condition, clean, no writings, with partly light ring trace. There is two of the dealer’s original price stickers on the front, the left bottom has light wear (see pictures). The back top right side has a crease trace. (see picture). Spine is still clear and fully legible. Outer sleeve is the square shape. Printed by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd, date code 7906, for June 1979. Generally some light creasing and surface marking; usual corner and edge scuffing, more pronounced on the front of the sleeve, bottom left. No handwritten notes, stains, tears or splits.
INNER SLEEVE is in very good condition with light ring traces. Thick card inner sleeve with rounded corners. Die-cut label size circular hole sealed with a square opaque polythene cover glued from within the sleeve. Track listing and credits on front. The inner sleeve with initial signs of a split seam in the middle of the edges, remedied. The front top right side has a light crease trace.

I grade in line with UK Record Collector grading system as set out in the book, please note I do not use USA Goldmine grading. My only grading that's different to the Record Collector grading system is I will only grade a record Mint if its sealed, I do not ever grade an unsealed record mint. My highest grade for an opened LP is near mint. Furthermore I do not grade under natural daylight I grade under a mega strong light that picks up any imperfections at all.
UK Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
