Description
Up for auction is a copy of the soundtrack to The Family Way, composed by Paul McCartney, and released on Decca in 1967, cat no LK 4847. The music to the classic Boulting Brothers film starring Hywel Bennett & Hayley Mills. Music arranged & supervised by George Martin.
Condition: the vinyl is in great condition, though there is what I can ony describe as an “enclosed hairline crack” affecting the final track and the run out groove on each side. It produces a minor click but plays through without jumping or sticking. Cover has a few laminate “thumbnail” creases, and a little general wear. There is a price & catalogue number written inside the cover opening, invisible unless you’re looking for it (at which point it is very visible). VG all round.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. If you have any problems, I'll be happy to issue a refund (less shipping costs) no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photo? I'm only an email away.
Payment: UK- cheques (preferred) or Paypal. Rest Of World- Paypal. Email for other accepted methods of payment. Shipping: £4 (UK 1st class), £5 (UK recorded) £7 (Europe) £9.50 (rest of world-airmail). I’m always happy to combine orders to save shipping costs. Insurance recommended for orders over £25; I am not responsible for parcels that go missing in the post!
