If you are reading this, then you most likely know just how hard it is to find this 1977 original, first pressing album sealed and in nice condition. They are so hard to find to begin with and here it is! 
This is the elusive 1977 first pressing and sealed album of Paul McCartney entitled, "Thrillington". This original first pressing album is on Capitol/EMI/MPL Records ST-11642. Overall in EX condition! Percy "Thrills" Thrillington album! This is considered a rare Collector's Item among all McCartney LPs!
This sealed LP is among Paul McCartney's toughest albums to find - especially sealed. Long story short, this is an instrumental cover of Paul & Linda's 1971 album "Ram" and it was already recorded back then, but shelved as they created "Wings"... and it remained untouched for 6 years until Paul decided to release it in 1977 under the pseudonym "Percy Thrillington". Rumor has it that Paul was ready to get out of his contract with Capitol Records and was slotted for another LP to release, so he used this one to fulfill that agreement - much to the surprise of the record company... and thus was created the elusive "Thrillington" album, which has become one of the most sought after McCartney LPs because of its rarity.
Overall, this LP is in EX condition and still sealed. The spine, seams and mouth are wonderful and with no shrink splits or tears! Shrink wrap is tight all the way around the LP and there are two vertical breathe holes on the left side above the plant and down in the plant's pot. There are two vertical breathe holes on the back cover on the far right side by the spine. Average trace of ring wear, which is totally common for not only this particular album cover but most all of them that have a darker or black background. There is a very clean, round promo hole in the top right corner (which has created about a 4" diagonal dog's ear to that corner area (see photos) and that's all to explain... a great sealed survivor! I take my photos in natural light and on angles to show the true texture, different views and presentation of the entire album so there is NO mystery.
Again, this LP is rare to find and now 41 years old and it is considered a Rare Collector's Item. This comes from my own personal collection and I actually acquired this album many years ago from Mr. Perry Cox, noted Beatles author of American Beatles Records Price Guide, Beatles autographs authenicator and arguably #1 seller of Beatles items on eBay. No, this isn't the FINAL upgrade (good luck finding that one), but in my opinion it is the next best thing and still sealed, tight shrink and a FIRST PRESSING!
I have described this total LP as accurately as possible and it will be a fantastic addition to any collector's records. I'm quite strict about my grading.
