Paul McCartney 1989 Russian made (EMI/MPL UK Fun Club Import) pressing of the ‘Choba B CCCP’ LP. This was obtained direct from Paul’s Wings Fun Club back in 1989. It is offered here in MINT- condition and with a selection of inserts including:
Original Wings Fun Club mailer, MINT- vinyl, cover, original poly inner, Wings Fun Club comp slip, Wings Fun Club sheet, Wings Fun Club order form and three postcards..
‘Choba B Cccp’ translates as ‘Back In The U.S.S.R.’. It was pressed on the Melodiya label in Russia and imported into the UK by EMI/MPL. Only 40,000 copies were pressed and released. This was never given an official UK vinyl release. It was Paul McCartney's attempt at international relations during the cold war.
The vinyl is in MINT- condition.
Both labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. Looks much better but has seam splits at two edges.
The inner sleeve is in MINT- condition.
The inserts are in EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition.
