Description

1973 Capitol Records SO-3415, this is an original US white label test pressing of the classic Paul McCartney & Wings LP "Band On The Run."  LP comes in a a plain white cardboard jacket, with two photo copies: one of the album pressing info, and one a small note from the desk of Joe Maimone promoting the record. LP grades a shiny VG+, showing some paper/surface marks; playback is solid, with some minor background crackle at times. The Side 1 label does have a brown water stain and some peeling, as it was at one time stored in a box that got damp, resulting in this damage and some staining/rippling to the bottom of the album info sheet. Side 2 label is fine, and the small photo copy insert shows some minor handling and an old piece of tape. LP is housed in a polylined Mo-Fi sleeve to protect it.
