Description
I have been collecting Beatles vinyl and memorabilia for 30+ years. I have now decided to sell my vast collection which includes many rarities. Please follow my auctions for a huge amount of original Beatles vinyl and memorabilia to be listed every week when possible.
Paul McCartney 'McCartney II'. FA 3191.
Paul McCartney 1987 UK 2nd pressing of the 'McCartney II' vinyl LP.
An unusual issue and much rarer than the original 1980 pressing. This has a MPL promo sticker to the front cover, a 'Fame 3191' (catalog number) oversticker on the spine and a barcode sticker on the rear! The cover states 'Made in Holland' and the vinyl is made in the UK. My guess is EMI reimported excess covers from Holland and added the stickers to the spine and rear to save having UK covers printed.
This is fully complete with gatefold sleeve and lyric inner sleeve. This also comes with an MPL comp slip, fun club info sheets (four sides) and card insert advertising Paul's releases. These last two items date from the early 1990's.
Vinyl condition: Side one EXCELLENT- side two EXCELLENT.
Sleeve condition: EXCELLENT-
inner sleeve condition: EXCELLENT
Carefully visually graded with UK Record Collector system.
