Condizioni : la copertina è perfetta sul lato anteriore mentre nel retro sono visibili alcune macchioline brune e una traccia lasciata dalla rimozione di uno sticker nei pressi del bordo superiore non lontano dall'angolo sinistro. Grande stato, EX+ Al suo interno un poster (59 x 29 centimetri circa) raffigurante la bella attrice Kimiko Nakayama e con crediti e annotazioni in Giapponese nel suo retro. In perfetto stato. L'album è senza la fascetta obi / vinile che presenta pochi minimi segnetti nel primo lato e uno sottile ma di una certa lunghezza nell'altro lato senza comunque il minimo condizionamento per il perfetto ascolto; grande stato, EX+ 

Condition : front cover is perfect whereas the back shows some brown small spots and a trace left by the removal of a sticker near the top edge not far from the left corner, EX+  On the inside a poster (59 x 29 cm approx.) depicting the beautiful actress Kimiko Nakayama with credits and notes in Japanese in its back. In perfect condition. No obi / vinyl shows a few minor scuffs on the first track and a thin but rather long superficial sign on the other side without any influence to the perfect listening, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : interessanti composizioni talvolta in combinazione con l’elettronica del sintetizzatore e i normali strumenti musicali. I temi anche nei passaggi sinfonici hanno comunque uno sviluppo sonoro energico e ben marcato. Il primo brano, "The Green Lake", è forse il migliore dell’album. Al sintetizzatore dalle particolari sonorità che sembrano rimbalzare si alternano vocalizzi femminili e chitarra elettrica supportata dalla batteria. Si crea così un’atmosfera fra l'onirico ed il sensuale ma ritmicamente vivace. Ricordo poi "La Trattoria" (a3) tema che risente della musica tradizionale Romana ben condotto dalla chitarra. Seguono poi due tracce dalla veloce dinamica sonora: "Part 2 - Love and Love Again" (a4) e "Juke-Box" (a5). Quest’ultima, con martellanti percussioni e buone sonorità degli strumenti a fiato, ha caratteristiche funky. Inoltre la bella e un po' sperimentale esecuzione della violinista Yoko Sato in "Duo" (b3), tema sinfonico di grande liricità ma con una discreta ritmica in sottofondo. "Love and Love Again" (b1), brano vivace e sofisticato dove la forza sonora delle tastiere, chitarra, basso e batteria si contrappone alle melodie romantiche dell'orchestra. "Alone" (b8) composta anche da Mort Shuman, è una canzone discretamente sensuale interpretata in Inglese da una cantante femminile non accreditata con l'accompagnamento del sintetizzatore e dell’orchestra.

Notes : interesting compositions sometimes in combination with the electronics of the synthesizer and the normal music instruments. The themes also in the symphonic passages have however an energetic and well-marked development. The first track, "The Green Lake", is perhaps the best of the album featuring special sonorities by synthesizer that seem to bounce in alternance to female vocalizations and to the electric guitar backed by drums. It is thus created an atmosphere between the dreaminess and sensuality but still rhythmically lively. I also mention "La Trattoria" (a3) influenced by Roman traditional folk music and well led by the guitar. This is followed by two tracks from the fast dynamic development: "Part 2 - Love and Love Again" (a4) and "Juke-Box" (a5). The latter with pounding percussion and good sonorities of brass instruments has funky features. As well, the beautiful and somewhat experimental performance of female violinist Yoko Sato in "Duo" (b3), symphonic theme of great lyricism with a good rhythm in the background. "Love and Love Again" (b1) lively and sophisticated track where the sonic force of keyboards, guitar, bass and drums is opposed to sentimental melodies of the orchestra. "Alone" (b8) also penned by Mort Shuman, is a rather sensual song performed in English by an uncredited female singer with the accompaniment of synthesizer and orchestra.
