You are bidding on a rare, jazz funk, LP record album, by Paul Jackson, entitled, "Black Octupus", from 1978, on the EastWorld record label, Direct Disk, Soundphile Series, Stereo #EWLF-98006.  The songs on the album are, "Black Octupus", "Funk Times Three", "Burning In The Heat (Of Your Love)", and, "Tiptoe Through The Ghetto".  This is the rare, Japanese pressing, as is stated, in fine print, at the bottom of the labels, and on the back cover side.  The labels are in excellent condition with just a couple lines of spindle hole usage evidence on one side.  The vinyl is in excellent condition and looks rarely, if ever, played.  The original, blazing, mirror-like vinyl gloss is tremendous.  Included is the original, clear, protective record baggy.  The jacket is in very good condition with light wear.  Each corner shows small wear fraying, with a very small pinch at the upper right and a larger pinch at the bottom left.  There is light wear on the top and bottom edges of the black color background.  There is a small sticker, on the back cover at the bottom middle, that states, "DISTRIBUTED BY audio-technica", from Fairlawn, Ohio.  The front side photo of Paul Jackson is very nice, with bright and vibrant colors, as are the 10 photos on the back of the band members.  Included is the original, bi-fold insert.  The insert has nice photos of the band on the front, a write-up about Paul Jackson inside, in both English and Japanese, the song titles and lyrics, more photos, and information about Toshiba-EMI Direct Disks.  The back page has more facts and instructions about the latter.   Please below for more information.
