PAUL GONSALVES: HUMMING BIRD
Stereo 1st pressing of this entirely awesome jazz LP on the Deram label.
Featuring, among others: Stan Tracey, Kenny Wheeler, Benny Goodman, Dave Green, Alan Branscombe, Kenny Napper and David Horler

GRADING
SLEEVE: VG+
The sleeve is in fine condition. The unlaminated rear is clean and free from any noticeable discolouration excepting a small (1cm) stain to the middle at the left (see photo) and the previous owners name written in biro to the top rear right hand corner. There are a couple of laminate wrinkles to the front of the sleeve. The spine and edges are straight and sharp.
RECORD: G+
Under bright light the record shows some light hairlines / scuffs. There is a mark to side one that becomes feelable over the last half of the last track. The record plays with some surface noise. There are no skips or sticks.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
