Up for auction is a very clean and rare copy of the Paul Gonsalves album "Cookin" released on Argo Records (LP-626) in 1957. This copy is an original deep groove MONO pressing. Cover is in beautiful shape. Lamination is shiny and bright, no bubbles or separations, no ring wear, no rubbing losses. Back cover is bone white, no ring wear, no writing, no age discoloration. Seams are tight and intact, no splits. Corners are sharp, no bumps. Grade it Near Mint (NM). The vinyl is also in really nice shape. Retains its high gloss luster and sheen. No obvious scratches or scuffs. Perhaps the tiniest of hairlines from taking disc out of the paper inner sleeve. Nothing that really stands out. I've play tested this record, and it plays beautifully. Virtually no background or surface noise. Plays quiet even in the quiet passages. Warm, full-bodied mono sound as it was meant to be. Grade the vinyl Near Mint Minus (NM-). Overall, one of the nicest copies of this album that you will come across, a true collector's copy. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.
