Description

Reissue of Paul Chambers' "Bass on Top."  Japanese pressing done by Toshiba under license from Blue Note.  Record nomenclature on jacket is LNJ-70081.  Inner record label indicates LNJ-70081 (BN-1569, this being the original Blue Note catalog number for the mono release from 1957).  Comes with original OBI strip and insert. 

Acquired this personally from Japan years ago.  Vinyl appears to have rarely been played and is probably closer to NM than it is EX.  But in an abundance of caution, I grade down, not up.   I have not played the vinyl  myself, the record jacket and LP have been in storage, housed in 6mm polyvinyl.

The outer jacket does show some signs of its age, wear and storage.  Slight creasing, some spots and slightly worn corners.  Other than that, it is in excellent condition.  The OBI strip on the jacket is still intact.

A beautiful Japanese re-issue from, presumably, 1976, reflective of the quality for which Japanese reissues/pressings are known.
