Description
Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.
I am known on ebay for selling VERTIGO swirl/spiral albums from my vast personal collection, but I also have other albums on just as interesting labels such as HARVEST, DERAM, PEGASUS, NEON, ISLAND, DAWN, B&C/CHARISMA, DANDELION, ATLANTIC etc which I am now putting up for sale.
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.
SO HERE WE GO.......
For sale here is --PATTO--HOLD YOUR FIRE--1971-- UK ORIGINAL PRESS ON THE VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL
VERTIGO 6360 032
SLEEVE.... GIMIXED and UN-LAMINATED. AN EXTREMELY FRAGILE SLEEVE AND VERY LIGHT COLOUR, very high percentage of these very rare sleeves tend to turn up very grubby and have at leaste 1 of the fold-outs torn off or missing. NOT THIS ONE!! although not totally mint it is still in way above average condition. Very flat and square. The edges have LIGHT wear but NO splits, EX. The opening edges are in EX condition. The spine is in EX- condition and all of the information can be read. The front of the sleeve is in EX condition, The top most part of the 3 fold-outs has a surface tear at the very top right and a small tear on the spine (please see the close-up pictures below), otherwise in great condition. The middle fold-out just has a crease at the top right and a little loss of colour to the red jacket. The bottom fold-out has a 2 surface scores along the bottom and a small tear at the spine. ALL 3 ARE STILL FIRMLY ATTACHED ,EX. The back of the sleeve is in EX and is fully readable with light surface rub. The inside of the fold-outs are fully readable and the apposing picture is very clean and not stained by the blak fold-outs, in wonderful EX condition. There is wear to the corner tips. Not mint but still in a strong condition for 37years of age. EX. This album comes with it's correct and original inner bag in EX condition.
LABELS..... There is NO unwanted writing, stickers, residue or tears, there is NO wear around the spindle hole and very few spindle marks on either side. This album has had very little play, and then always handled with great care. N/MINT, N/ MINT.
VINYL...... When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see ALMOST NO surface marks(just 1 light one on the B-side) and there is no audible clicks, jumps or skips. In normal daylight this album looks BRAND SPANKING NEW with a deep black shine. Both sides play without JUMPS or STICKING. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There ALMOST NO background dust crackles. These heavy vinyl original presses are second to none. This is a great copy of a very rare and brilliant album that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, N/MINT, EX+.
A RARE ALBUM AND SUPERB CONDITION
VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANYTHING LIKE THIS WONDERFUL CONDITION.
