Condition - VG++
Mint (M)
Absolutely perfect in every way. The item will be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration.
Near Mint(NM)
A nearly perfect record. The record will show no obvious signs of any wear and play as new.
VG++
A VG++ record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took very good care of it. There's no deterioration in sound quality but there maybe slight surface scuffs that don't affect the listening experiences.
VG+
Similar to VG++ but with a few more light marks on the vinyl. The sound is strong and clean with no obvious clicks or significant background sound.
VG
A VG record will be well used. It will play through without any hops and skips, but with some background noise and perhaps the odd small pop or click.
A record in Good condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But the sound quality will probably have noticeably deteriorated - surface noise, mild scratches and visible groove wear.
