PATRIOTS- Land of the Free 7?EP

Recorded and mixed in one day on April 28 1983, the PATRIOTS sole vinyl appearance is full of angry angst! The listener can easily sense the urgency and power in the group's attack, on this vinyl treasure, a treasure of low-fi analog recording techniques that capture and preserve this specific moment in time. Although some critics complained about the production and lack of originality on this EP, others feel differently.  There isn't much to tell about the PATRIOTS.  They were from LA (County) and seem to have disappeared back into its far-flung avenues, after this glorious piece of plastic (a rare find). My fave would be “The Guilty walk free”, but every song has specific attractions in the highly-pitched guitar played by Chris Pedersen. A fantastic record, under-appreciated in its time. It's odd how some bands would fly under the radar, in a time when others seemed to project a larger presence without the same talent or charisma, looking back in perspective at the first and only wave of HC Punk.

The Patriots left behind this one EP from their brief tenure in the Valley nightspots that catered to punk bands.  Led by the incendiary Chris Pedersen whose ringing guitar figures in all the tunes.

Includes a lyric and information sheet, with the picture cover in a plastic sleeve.  Everything is in excellent condition, no marks, no tears, no folds or flaws.  The record is near mint with no visible scuffs or scratches.  The labels are clean, with no wear.  This is a time capsule from 1983.

    I try to post clear pictures, although there may be some defects or loss of detail, depending
    on the item.  If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask--it might save us both problems.  
    I will generally answer within a few hours, or a day at most.  

    Most items go out the same or next business day after payment is received, within reason.  
    Payments received on weekends, holidays, and similar days will result in shipments being
    delayed until the Post Office is open to receive it.  
 
    All payment are due within 7 days of the close of the auction or a “Conflict Resolution”
    procedure will be opened with PayPal and eBay.  

    Shipping is offered to USA addresses,  ONLY.  International shipping is available, by
    Request, and at the associated additional cost to buyer, based on actual rate. Items will be
    sent MEDIA MAIL, with delivery confirmation requested. I am always willing to combine
    shipping costs.  In those cases, please wait until I send your invoice for the correct amount
    to remit.   If you would like to bid and are overseas, please contact me for a quote on the
    shipping costs first.  It is no trouble to calculate the cost of shipping anywhere, within reason.

    I am willing to ship internationally within reason, although every case will be determined upon
    request . Postage will be determined by distance and weight.   International shipping rates will
    be offered on request.
