Pat sang in a lounge band in Richmond's Shockoe Slip before hitting the big time. Very few of her first album still survive. This Private Pressing was recorded at Richmond's famed Alpha Audio studios, birthplace of wax by Short Cross, Bill Blue, Starfire, Oliver Christian, Tyrone Thomas, Ujima & Whole Darn Family.
