Description
Up for auction is a rare, private/small label release from PARTNERS IN CRIME, despite their really rock'n'roll/80s looks--they were a killer female fronted punk rock band from northern New Jersey, USA circa 1984.
The record is still sealed/Mint and definitely original pressing released on French Teeze Records out of Newton, NJ
. While this is definitely the same band and line-up punk collectors know as Partners in Crime, the album cover (a paste-up photo copy job pasted on a generic white album sleeve) makes it a little vague as to the actual name of the band -- as ROX seems somewhat prominent and the band member names are listed on the back underneath the name 'ROX'. Or perhaps there was a name change at some point, any further info. from collectors or other sources would be greatly appreciated.

1/9/07: I was contacted by Dawn, the lead singer of the band--and she mentioned that there was only 300 copies of this one pressed. She also mentioned that at the time of this recording, they were known as 'Rox' and that they did a range of covers and originals, and formed PIC a little bit later--though I take it they took their later incarnation from the title of this release.
