Description

Welcome to my Music Store !
This Auction listing is for a great album from 1974 by the Heavy Space Funk Band , Parliament.
If you went to clubs and discos in the 70s and early 80s, you will probably remember George Clinton, and Parliament, as well as his other big band Funkadelic. He masterminded the P-Funk craze and brought us heavy disco funk which took America by storm back in the day.
This 1974 Vinyl Album is called Up For The Down Stroke
Catalogue Number CAL 2011
Label Casablanca

This album is a UK pressing. Sleeve shows 1974 - I think it was released in 1975.
You can see the full track listing in my photos.
The 8 songs include: the title track, and Testify.

This vinyl record is in really lovely condition.
It plays well and is a nice clean copy.
I would grade it Excellent plus, to a tentative Neat Mint. There are very few feint hairlines and a couple of light marks but the album is in pristine condition.
The outer sleeve is not fantastic. There is edge wear and corner tip wear ,which is most pronounced at the bottom.
The spine is not very good and has rubbed away its laminate for the most part. There is record imprint to the front panel.
Back outer sleeve panel is better than the front.

I would grade the sleeve VG only to be certain.
There is no writing at all on the sleeve or any stickers
But the vinyl is in really lovely condition.
I really enjoyed checking out this record and listening to it.

Please do note that you are bidding on a VINYL RECORD / LP
