Obscure 45 on the very collectable Tampa, Florida label.
Sweet Soul Generation played a lot around Tampa and St. Petersburg, and even
managed an appearance on the "Bee Jay Video Soundtrack" album on Tener.
They breathe new life into "Knock On Wood", changing the lyrics to "knock on YOUR wood"
(which gives it a whole new meaning), while mixing a garage band vibe with some funky guitar.
"In My Tree" is a strong moody ballad that (unfortunately) has horns, but is still a good song.
Buy more than one record, and save on postage.
Important note: More and more packages sent overseas are getting hung up
in customs. It is not unusual for some packages to take 6-8 weeks to reach buyers,
even though they're being sent out within a day or two of payment.
Germany, France, Italy, Greece, and Australia have all reported longer than
