BEACH COMBER / SWEET BOSSA / BOAT RACE / GLOAMING ... 7-inch, 45rpm EP single by THE PARIS JAZZ SOUND aka LUDOVIC DECOSNE (aka ROGER SIMON) & PIERRE DAUBRESSE (aka ALAN FEANCH). Original UK pressing on the HUDSON MUSIC Co label (DWH/EP 119) from circa 1972. Super-obscure, UK Library grail. Small group funk and bossa with groovy jazz / baroque influences. How many of you out there knew that the killer B-boy drums / flute and electric piano funk theme GLOAMING was issued on ultra trendy, 7-inch format ;) This is a fabulous example of the ever eclectic Library genre that un-credited yet multi-talented session players nailed in one take. Great for DJs. Comped on Dusty Fingers Vol 8 / Bite Harder - Music De Wolfe Studio Sampler Vol 2 and Kid Loco Presents French Funk Experience. The other 3 themes have that early '70s euro Brazilian lounge sound with fender rhodes and Baroque jazz ambience. Mood music from the De Wolfe Library Lp Little Bossa by cult composers who also recorded for Musique Pour L'Image / Tele Music / MP2000 et al. Seldom comes up for sale. Very rare Library EP!!!

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition overall with some hairlines and mini scuffs from storage. All themes play with varying degrees of surface noise. Some soft pops and ticks (as you can hear on the soundclip). The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with some general creasing from storage. Light ring dirt marks. Corner wear. Faint ink bleeding mark to front right top corner. Very rare Library EP!!!
