TEMA B / AP1 ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single. Music by PAOLO VASILE orchestra directed by ALESSANDRO BLONKSTEINER. Original Italian pressing on CAM label (CAM AMP 156), from 1975. Another Italian soundtrack masterpiece directed by the man who orchestrated the seedy Apocalypse Domani film score (the zombie horror OST Lp on Beat label we sold last month). You can expect a similar edgy and disturbing ambience on this killer 7-inch too ;) Features the aggressive TEMA B funk theme. Relentless, obsessive and psychedelic with super-tuff beats and running hi-hats / wah wah / menacing jazz horns / echoed Sorgini style congas and bugged-out fuzz synthesizers from a blaxploitation tinged orchestra. Great for DJs with booming production sound. Comped on Easy Tempo Vol. 8 and also on Tema Con Variazioni - Giallo - Poliziesco Cam CML 125 Italian Library. Very few Italian cop funk themes on original vinyl sound as punishing as TEMA B. Similar sort of vibe as the Mario Molino - Come Cani Arrabbiati film theme on Idea label. The AP1 side is also superb. Beautiful and cinematic with those haunting Morricone-esque lounge strings of the period. Melancholic guitar notes / harpsichord / flute and piano with funky compressed drums that kick in midway and lo-fi hip hop cum classical finale. Top double-sider... Lots of syncopated rhythms / loops and samples. Mood music from La Polizia Interviene Ordine Di Uccidere (aka The Left Hand Of The Law) the cult and violent poliziottesco / poliziotteschi / poliziesche / crime thriller film directed by Giuseppe Rosati starring Leonard Mann / James Mason / Enrico Maria Salerno and Janet Agren. Brilliant artwork sleeve design in striking monochrome too. Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) regardless of some hairlines / faint mini scuffs. Some light surface noises. Booming production sound. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) regardless of some ring creasing and natural age discoloration. Some light dirt marks from storage (under top edge of back sleeve). Rare OST 45!!!
