Description
Feelin’ Free by the U.K. (post Wimple Winch) band Pacific Drift is a nice marriage of guitar driven prog, psych, and blues-rock along the lines of the first Jethro Tull LP, This Was. Highlights include the beautiful “Garden Of Love,” “Norman” (a blend of sike and brassy progressive pop, with a flutey prog ending), “Tomorrow Morning Brings” (a floating harpsichord pop beauty), “Grain Of Sand” (swirling late-psych/Moodies influenced), “Greta The Legend” (amazing guitar break), and “Happy Days” (slow and grinding, again with brass). Looks like this has two tracks, “We’re On Our Way” and “Don’t Turn Away,” that don’t appear on the U.K. pressing of this album. Released in the U.S. on Deram in 1970. The cover is in VG+++ and the record is in M-- condition. The reserve on this item is $49.99.
