A Small Faces production and arrangement. Written by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane who with the other 2 members of The Small Faces backed P. P. Arnold on this single. Marriott had originally written Tin Soldier for Arnold but when the band realized the hit potential they convinced him to keep it for the band. (If You Think You're) Groovy was written especially for her.....the flip Though It Hurts Me Badly was written by P. P. Arnold and producer by Mick Jagger.
Both sides played from start to finish - no skips, no jumps. Light lines - nothing deep. Two white labels. The occasional lingering light tic as expected from pressings of this era. Light beginnings of ring wear. Overall, another shining example of a well maintained promo record.
