WINGS - BAND ON THE RUN - NIMBUS SUPERCUT

VERY RARE AUDIOPHILE PRESSING OF THE CLASSIC ALBUM

THIS RECORD WILL NEED TO BE SIGNED FOR ON DELIVERY DUE TO THE HIGH VALUE.

WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS PRESSING?

Nimbus Records have achieved somewhat of a legendary status within the audiophile circle for their ' Supercut' releases, which were only available via mail order through the Hi-Fi magazines 'Practical Hi-Fi' and 'Hi-Fi Today' in the early 1980s.  Nimbus mastered each release from the original master tapes using the best available mastering processes. Nimbus employed many techniques for each release that were not commonly used. Nimbus had the ICI company produce an extremely pure vinyl for the LPs, which has amazing frequency reproduction and is virtually noise free. Due to the very small pressing quantities, the Nimbus albums have become highly sought after by vinyl purists, often very high prices are achieved as they are seen as an investment opportunity as well as a superb quality LP.

The dead wax in the run off grooves has NIMBUS ENGLAND impressed in it

THE VINYL IS IN MINT UNPLAYED CONDITION.

THE INNER LYRIC BAG IS IN MINT CONDITION

THE PHOTOGRAPHIC INSERT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.

THE OUTER SLEEVE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, SUFFERING FROM MINIMAL CREASING .
