Description
Very nice copy of the first UK pressing of Island LP ILPS 8002/514 696-1, the 1993 album by P J Harvey, ‘Rid Of Me’, A3/B3 Matrix suffixes.
Sleeve has a little corner wear, with a small chip to opening edge, some light edge browning/handling grubbiness and a little ringwear, but structure is excellent, with just a couple of light edge creases, and printed images are strong and clear monochrome. Overall, sleeve easily grades EX minus. Inner also EX minus.
Vinyl has light hairlines of varying degrees on both sides; there is a more obvious line on side one, band one, which does cause some occasional clicks and pops, and a few repetitive clicks towards the end of this track, but not too obtrusive. At the start of side two there is a skating line into the first track, but this doesn’t appear to have an adverse effect on audio; there is light background crackle during quieter parts, but audio is very strong and loud, and with no skips or jumps. Despite minor faults, this is still a very nice playing copy of the original first pressing, and grades VG+ to EX-.
