Description
Available here is a 12” vinyl LP by PJ Harvey - Rid Of Me. A European 1st pressing, it was issued by Island Records in 1993 with the catalogue number ILPS 8002 / 514 696-1.
The record bears the following pressing marks -
Matrix / Runout - Side 1 - Etched - ILPS 8002 A3 A3 DFI-93-4-
Matrix / Runout - Side 2 - Etched - ILPS 8002 B3 B3 DFI-93-4-
Vinyl Condition - Very Good - The record is reasonably bright and clean - no obvious scratches although the odd light mark will be found. Having listened to both sides, I can confirm that there is no sticking or jumping but expect to hear the odd click. Background crackle/noise is present and largely throughout. It’s most noticeable on intros and outros, during track breaks and quieter moments. When Harvey’s grinding out her anguished vocals and guitar, it’s less of an issue. I suspect that performance may be improved with some dedicated cleaning.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good+ - Minor signs of wear in places mainly in the form of corner rubbing, with light marks to the front panel most likely caused by the removal of labels. There are no splits or damage. Printed inner is superior but again bearing a former label stain.

Packaging - It is not my intention to profit from postage. Where possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.
