The Outcasts Cameo - Parkway Records Garage. Rock 'n Roll. R&R. . Pop. Psych.
The Outcasts, on Cameo - Parkway Records #477, Demo release, white /grey color label an original 45 RPM 7" single US release, titled : I Didn't Have To Love Her Anymore, written by Mark Foley, -c/w- Today's The Day, written by Madera, White, & Gilmore. Produced by Madera and White. This is a Demo, Promotion, DJ release, issued to radio stations prior to being released as a record store for sale stock release. RARE original fantastic double sider US release of the absolutely incredible pushin' garage rock / punker "I Didn't Have To Love Her Anymore" coupled with the pumpin' psych rocker "Today's The Day". It's been included in the compilations : "Pebbles Vol. 12", "A Journey To Tyme Vol. 2", also in "Mindrocker Vol. 11".
CONDITION / GRADING: The Single is in Near Mint or better, bright, shiny, clean, no surface scratch marks, no scuff marks, has very slight wave that does not affect play. The Label is in Near Mint or better Condition, very small mark on the "I Didn't" side. The "Today" side has no marks.
The Gradings System is: Mint-, Near Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good. Fair. If Mentioned: Surface Scratches, if mentioned, are light on top of the grooves somewhat like surface scuffs/surface marks that do not affect the sound, with the record playing loud and clear. Light Scratches, when mentioned, may be in-between slightly more than surface scratches and close to At The Groove, yet not affecting play, no skipping, may cause some sounds/ticks, plays loud and clear. Just About Or At The Groove Scratches are a bit deeper than Near Groove yet still the record plays with no skipping with possibly some sounds/ticks and generally plays loud and clear.
Usually records are spot or listened to all the way through.
A word about certain 1950's and 1960's pressing ingredients and some small label pressings: Sometimes, pressings of small labels from the 50's and 60's and some instances 70's pressings were made with not the greatest of ingredients, and with these inferior ingredients causing some under the music groove sound - this generally happened with small label pressings, yet the music is clear, loud, and present. Also, at times, these smaller label pressings were pressed at cheapie pressing plants or at a big plant but on the sly late at night without the quality control of the normal commissioned pressing, There may also be tape hissing audible which is part of the recording/pressing.
