Hi, Welcome Elvis Collectors,
Elvis Presley    Pure Elvis   RCA DJL-3455   Special Promotion Record Exclusively for Radio Stations.
 EXTREMELY RARE   White label LP Sampler -Black print. 8 Track Promotional issue only.   4 Songs from " Our Memories Of Elvis Vol. 2 " were selected for representation on this unusual LP. It contained both the original-overdubbed-versions of Elvis' songs as well as the "Pure ' versions. Featuring one side of versions of tracks as found on the " Our memories Of Elvis Vol. 2 " and a special second side of the same featured tracks but as they were originally captured in the studio for LP versions- taken from the albums " Good Times " and Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tenn."   Produced in very limited quantity-just 400 copies- and distributed to select radio stations, mostly country music formatted outlets. The Pure Elvis Sound was used to describe the release of Elvis recordings exactly as he and his combo recorded them( sans overdubbing). The jacket for " Pure Elvis " ( DJL1-3455) is much like the " Our Memories Of Elvis " Vol. 2 cover except it's done in black and white. Really hard to find especially in this condition.   With original inner sleeves.

Cover: VG+    The corners are dinged and some shelf wear. The very tip of the corners have been touched up with a black marker.   Very light ring wear front and back. See all pictures

Record: VG++    Has a couple of light hairline marks and scuffs on side 1 and 2.   Side 1, track 1(I Got A Feelin' In My Body "  has some nicks at the outside edge (lead in) of the track and scuff marks running through half the track. This track has been sound tested and sounds fine, with no skips. There is some low static noise at the first part of the track but not loud enough to distract from the music.      A VERY NICE COLLECTABLE IN GREAT SHAPE!! 

Inner Sleeve: Mint Minus  There are no splits or tears, has a little tanning due to the age of this sleeve
