Description
“Historic Performances Recorded At The Monterey International Pop Festival - Otis Redding - Jimi Hendrix Experience” recorded in 1967 and released back in 1970 for the Capitol Record Club on Reprise (WB) Records SW-93371 in Stereo with the HTF Two-tone labels. These records very seldom show up, but they are easily identified by the white border around the edges, that the regular versions do not have. The first edition banned alternate cover is in pretty good shape but starting to show it’s age. There’s a couple chips on the spine and the lower right corner has been bent. The top corners are bumped, and there’s some foxing starting to show up as a couple brown spots. The front and back are both flat and free of ringwear. Overall the cover grades to VG. The original inner sleeve is in great condition. Both sides of the record easily visually grade to VG+. The rare two tone labels are free of spindle marks with no writing. Here’s a great opportunity for the hard core Hendrix collector to acquire a mythical release of one of Jimi’s most stellar performances in it’s original format.
