Description: Here we have an original near mint first pressing Mono Otis Redding vinyl LP inside of an original Stereo cover still in the original shrink wrap. I have played the LP to double check and it does play mono on my stereo. I purchased this LP from the original owner and they said this is how they purchased the LP when new. This was common in the 1960's for record labels to place a mono record in a stereo cover or vice versa when they ran out of one type of cover or record. But keep in my how hard it is to find an original mono pressing of an Otis Redding LP in this beautiful near mint condition. Most copies of this LP I come across year after year look as if they have been played to death.
