Description

Ornette Coleman (with Don Cherry, Walter Norris, Don Payne, Billy Higgins) SOMETHING ELSE! Contemporary S 7551 Stereo original.  Early cover design, with Ornette’s horn sitting across his knees. Gold-on-black label. Disc plays with low-level but contnuous surface noise:  VG++, I think. Jacket is about as clean as you could hope for.


Here’s the fourth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
