Ornette Coleman (with David Izenzon, Charles Moffett) LIVE AT THE GOLDEN CIRCLE VOL. 1 Blue Note BLP 4224, recorded 1965. Mono release. A modified version of the “ear” logo appears in wax on both sides, as does “VAN GELDER”. ‘Blue Note Records Inc. – New York USA’ on label. This record did get played quite a bit—carefully, but still... VG++ with no damage. Jacket is NM and handsome.

Here’s the sixth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
