European Tour Live 1970 LP - THE ROLLING STONES (Rubber Dubber 70-008)
Original 1970 (or '71, not certain) MONO 2-LP. 11 tracks, including: "Stray Cat Blues," "Midnight Rambler," "Sympathy For The Devil," "Little Queenie," "Brown Sugar," more. Legendary release, one of the earliest albums of its kind, complete w/ rubber stamped front cover. First pressing too, I believe - later pressings featured different color labels, I think. (STONES collectors/fanatics, correct me if I'm in error.) Sound quality ain't shabby, especially considering how primitive the recording facilities were at the time. This particular copy is a one-owner disc (well, technically 2, counting me) - I obtained it from a dude who purchased it new back in the day. Usually found in less than stellar condition, here's a sweeet copy.
Discs = EX+, sounds great (only minor flaw is a blemish of some sort on record 2, side 4, track 2 - "Little Queenie" - that causes a couple of lite background pops towards the end of the track; this blemish is in the exact same location on the flip - the end of "Roll Over Beethoven" - but it does not affect play, at least I didn't hear anything; seems to be a pressing flaw, due to the positioning) / Cover = plain white cover w/ rubber stamps - ring/cover wear / Labels = just some very lite chipping around center hole on disc 1 only
