Description

First edition original Verve stereo pressing of the Velvet Underground's first LP, with iconic cover art by producer Andy Warhol.

Banana peel sticker has been extremely well preserved in plastic dust cover since the 1960s. Just a tiny bit of the peel is misaligned with pink banana underneath.

Vinyl is in excellent condition with no scratches, bends or bumps.

Cover shows some slight wear on the sides and there is a hole (deliberate) in one corner. Spine show some scuffs/very minor damage, and the opening of the case is slightly separated (see photo).

This original pressing was extremely small, and highly coveted as the VU, Lou Reed and Nico became one of the most influential rock bands of all time.

Truly own a piece of history with the very first release by this legendary group.
