GOLDMINE GRADING

Mint (M)

 It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

Near Mint (NM)

 Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

 The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original luster may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

Very Good (VG)

Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

Good (G)

Well played with little luster and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

Poor (P)

Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws.

Goldmine Bewertung in deutsch

Mint oder (M):
Die Schallplatte muss im perfekten Zustand sein. Sie sollte aussehen, als wenn sie gerade aus der Fabrik kommt.
Das Cover ist neuwertig, ohne Preisaufkleber oder Beschriftungen.

Near Mint oder (NM):
Der Zustand der Schallplatte ist fast als "Mint" einzustufen. Es sind jedoch einzelne Benutzungsspuren sichtbar, wie z. B. Wischer durch Papierinnentüten oder kaum sichtbare Oberflächenkratzer, vorhanden. Die Schallplatte spielt aber ohne hörbare Beeinträchtigungen.
Das Cover sieht fast perfekt aus. Einzelne Benutzungsspuren sind jedoch vorhanden aber keine relevanten Beschädigungen.

(EX) oder (VG ++):
Eigentlich nicht von "Goldmine" vorgesehen aber oft benutzt und deswegen doch von "Goldmine" beschrieben. Diese Bewertungsstufe ist auch als sehr hochwertig anzusehen. Es ist so zu verstehen, dass die Schallplatte sehr nah an "NM" ist aber nicht als solches bezeichnet werden kann, weil der optische Gesamteindruck dies nicht rechtfertigt. Die Schallplatte hat sichtbare aber nicht hörbare Wischer der Papierinnenhüllen und vielleicht auch Abdrücke der Kunststoffinnenhüllen. Sie spielt aber immer noch fast perfekt.
Das Cover ist fast perfekt aber mit stärkeren Abnutzungserscheinungen, wie z. B. dem Abdruck der Schallplatte (Ringwear).

Very Good Plus oder (VG+):
Die Schallplatte hat mehr optische Mängel als eine als "EX" eingestufte. Sie hat evt. kleine Kratzer und spielt mit Hintergrundgeräuschen, die den Genuss der Schallplatte jedoch nicht gross stören.
Das Cover ist sauber, hat aber vielleicht eine kleine Beschriftung irgendwo und die Rückseite ist zB. etwas abgenutzt. Saubere Reparturen mit Klebbeband sind in der Beschreibung seperat angegeben.

Very Good oder (VG):
Das heißt nicht, dass die Schallplatte generell im sehr guten Zustand ist, besonders auf den optischen Eindruck bezogen. Die Schallplatte spielt gut aber sie hat vereinzelte Ticks oder Plops. Hier jedoch auch keine hörbaren Kratzer!
Das Cover sieht stärker genutzt aus. Es gibt vielleicht einige Einrisse an den Kanten, teilweise Farbabrieb und mit Beschriftung. Es gibt aber keinen Wasserschaden oder Einrisse Saubere Reparturen mit Klebbeband sind in der Beschreibung seperat angegeben.

Good oder (G):
Die Schallplatte sieht stark genutzt aus. Sie spielt aber noch. Es gibt aber deutliches Hintergrundgeräusch, wie z. B. Knistern und Knacksen. Sie spielt jedoch ohne lautes Knacken von tiefen Kratzern. Die Musik ist immer noch gut zu genießen aber mit deutlichen Nebengeräuschen.
Das Cover hat schon über die Jahre gelitten. Es ist nicht mehr in unbeschädigtem Zustand und kann auch geklebt oder repariert sein.
