Description

Original First Pressing Special AKA Vs Selector Vinyl Gangsters Hand stamped.


I worked in a record shop in Bristol in 1978 - 1979 when I got this record. This is 100% original - one of the first copies hand stamped by the band in 1979.


Matrix etching on side one says 'Gangsters' and

'TT + 1 - 3'

Side two says 'TT 2-1' and 'GG' or maybe  'EG'. I've tried to take close ups of the etchings.


Paper sleeve has a slight yellowing from age, a small tear and a small brown speck (see photos).


This record has been kept in record box, in a plastic sleeve for the last 43 years! I consider it in great condition - can't see any scratches. Have wiped it with a dry microfibre cloth but haven't attempted to clean it properly, I'll leave that to the buyer.
