Original Dixieland "Jass" Band 78 Rpm Victor 18255 Historic 1st Jazz Record.


Early pressing of historic 1st issued record with " jass" in the title.

  I am not entirely sure which pressing this is but later issues of this record  switched to " Jazz" instead of " jass" in the title.


Cleaned and tested.


Grade us V/V+

Even wear to both sides  with moderate surface noise, music does play very well despite the fact that in 1917 when this was issued records were played with steel needles ( mini nails). This is a strong player.
