Description
Original Battersea Heroes 1973 LP Violets Holiday
To give it its full title: “Rock ‘N’ Roll With The Original Battersea Heroes: Little Miss Lucy and Boogie Chicken”
In Australia, in the 70s, was Uncle Bob's Band. They were Terry Darmody (vocals, harmonica), Bob McGowan (guitar, mandolin, kazoo and vocals) and Tony Burkys (guitar, vocals), and they were “three former members of the Original Battersea Heroes, a cult jug band formed in the mid-1960s, which metamorphosed into the Heroes in the early ‘70s, made one stinker of an album and broke up.”
OBH also had strong links with Tully, The 69ers and Captain Matchbox.
They were joined on this album by Peter Nehill (Bass) and Dennis Burke (Drums) as well as jazz/session stars Col Nolan and Tony Buchanan.

CONDITION:
SLEEVE – Hmm, G-. The front is fine, with laminate in good condition and only a few minor marks, but the rear has been water affected and a palm-sized section of print/photos has a large white patch from another sleeve stuck to it; as well there are a few surface tears.
RECORD – VG+ to EX. Looks great, with a few faint lines and minor scuffs; sounds terrific, slightest fuzz & crackle between tracks.

Not quite perfect. There may a slight chance of minor deterioration in sound quality. The cover/sleeve may show slight wear.

Has been neglected, but is still playable. There will be major audible defects such as loud clicks or jumping. The cover/sleeve maybe badly damaged.
P = Poor
Technically playable, but with serious deterioration in condition and sound quality. The cover/sleeve will be badly damaged.
