​Most of the albums that are called "Self Titled" feature the band's name, or perhaps the name of the featured musician.

​"Lady Soul" became Aretha's common moniker after the release of this album - very unusual, but sweet Aretha was no ordinary lady.

Powerful rhythm and voice brought her messages of faith, love, consolation, and gratitude to all who had the good fortune to hear her. To her father, Reverend Clarence Franklin, she must have seemed a gift from heaven.


The combination of musical talents contributing to our offered album here make the many accolades for Aretha's  Lady Soul  LP impossible to overstate. It is simply one of the Greatest Albums of All Time.

EX+ :  Please see photos / well-stored with some minor scuffing and light, partial ringwear / bright colors / all of the seams, including the spine, are intact / no writing, paper loss, paper tears, dirt, or stains.


Included is the original Atlantic Records paper inner sleeve (please see the photos in our gallery).
