Original 6/18/83 Dick Clark National Music Survey Top 30 Vinyl LP Record Box Set

DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for the rare, original 1983 radio broadcast of the Weekly Top 30 countdown which the radio stations played to their audiences. The three records are in NM condition and look to be played only once. The box has some wear and tear and staining on it (soda pop, I believe); the records and sleeves were unaffected. Please see my photos and ask for more if desired as they are part of the description for this item.

The Dick Clark National Music Survey was a syndicated Top 30 countdown radio series hosted by American radio personality Dick Clark (2). It debuted in May 1981.

This is how most nationally syndicated radio shows were formatted back in the 1980's. A 3-hour show would be three, 12-inch vinyl records.

No track titles or info pertaining to programs are on labels.

Discs are labeled for 2 parts, each meant to play continuously on two turntables by the radio station.

Mixed music, commercials and show ID's.
